U.S. Congressman Reports Detention by Settlers in West Bank

Representative Ro Khanna, D-Calif., stated that armed Israeli settlers detained him during a visit to a Palestinian village in the West Bank. Khanna, who individuals have noted as a potential presidential candidate for 2028, said the settlers stopped his group.

He further reported that Israeli troops subsequently arrived at the location. Khanna said the troops then sided with the settlers and maintained the detention of his group. NBC News correspondent Raf Sanchez reported on the incident.
