The Hernando County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) has released updated public records detailing recent arrests and offense reports. These records offer residents information on public safety activities across the county.
The available reports include arrests made by the HCSO and offense reports filed by the department. Information on arrests booked into the Hernando County Jail is accessible through the Jail Search page on the Sheriff's Office website.
The HCSO also provides access to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's Sex Offender and Predator database, including a map-based search for local neighborhoods. This database contains only records not classified as confidential under Florida public records laws.
Requests for records dated prior to October 1, 1995, require a formal request. The Sheriff's Office also offers access to civil data listing individuals served within the last three days, though a processing delay may occur before system entry.
An Economic Crime Report section on the HCSO website allows review of related arrests. Further details are available on the Hernando County Sheriff's Office website.
