Demolition Grant Program
Callaway CRA developed the Demolition Grant Program to provide funding for qualified commercial and residential property owners within the CRA area to improve the attractiveness of properties, help eliminate conditions that have a negative impact on economic growth and encourage the siting of new businesses or homes. These are matching grants, which means the City will reimburse an applicant for half of what was spent, up to the maximum; Residential Demolition Grants are up to $5,000, Commercial Demolition Grants are up to $10,000 or $20,000 if purchased post-Hurricane Michael.
