Development Services Building Official/Code Enforcement: 727-835-1100 Permitting: 727-835-1099 Serving as the Development Services Manager with more than 20 years of experience in State, County, and Municipal government. She is a bilingual professional, fluent in English and Spanish. Throughout her tenure with the City of Port Richey, Mrs. Hanson has held multiple positions within the Development Services Department, gaining comprehensive insight into municipal operations. Ms. Hanson possesses extensive knowledge of Florida Building Codes, zoning regulations, and FEMA requirements. Her professional expertise includes managing and administering the Community Rating System (CRS), Business Tax Receipts, permitting, and zoning functions. In addition to her municipal leadership role, Mrs. Hanson serves as Vice President of the Florida Association of Business Tax Officials and is a member of the Association's State Board of Directors of Education. She also serves as President of the Bay Area Chapter, representing 12 counties. Mrs. Hanson also serves as a member of the Florida Floodplain Managers Association.
