Henderson Parks Adopts 10-Year Master Plan Through 2036
The Henderson Parks and Recreation Department completed a master plan guiding operations and development through 2036. The department partnered with Branstetter Carroll and convened a steering committee that gathered community input to shape the strategy.
Four goals structure the plan, known by the acronym PAGE: Protect, Adapt, Grow, and Enhance. The framework identifies service gaps and inequities while proposing solutions to align resources with community priorities.
The plan calls for additional staff and organizational changes to meet demand. It outlines future funding requirements and potential revenue sources while preventing duplication of existing services.
