Drive with Caution: Dense Fog Advisory Issued Until 10 AM

A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for several counties in Minnesota and Wisconsin, effective immediately until 10 AM CDT today, September 28, 2026. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Duluth, MN, reports that visibility may be reduced to one-quarter mile or less in dense fog.
Residents in Crow Wing, Pine, and South Aitkin Counties in Minnesota, and Price, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Sawyer, and Washburn Counties in Wisconsin are affected. The NWS warns that these conditions could make driving hazardous.
If you must drive this morning, please slow down, use your low-beam headlights and fog lights, and ensure you leave plenty of distance between your vehicle and others on the road. The advisory is set to expire at 10 AM CDT.
