Jerry Lynn Noe, 67, of Harriman, died at home Monday, July 20, 2026. He served as founding pastor of Beulah Land Worship Center in Kingston for 12 years before retiring in May 2025. His family received friends Thursday, July 23, at Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs, followed by a funeral service and a graveside service Friday, July 24, at Oliver Springs Cemetery.

Noe spent decades serving churches in Indiana and East Tennessee, including congregations connected to Harriman and Kingston. His ministry, family and hands-on interests shaped the life remembered by relatives and friends.

David and Anna Ruth Noe welcomed Jerry in Oliver Springs on June 8, 1959. He began his pastoral work at Peru Mt. Assembly Church of God in Peru, Indiana. He later served as youth and assistant pastor at Wabash Mt. Assembly Church of God before becoming pastor of Dugger Mt. Assembly Church of God.

After years in Indiana, Noe returned to his hometown area. He served as pastor at House of Refuge in Kingston and later led Independent Emory Gap Church of God in Harriman. He then founded Beulah Land Worship Center in Kingston, where he served as pastor for 12 years. After his retirement in May 2025, the church continued to recognize him as pastor emeritus.

Family members described Noe as someone who offered help to anyone in need. He enjoyed carpentry, gardening, hunting and fishing, and he spent time with relatives and friends discussing the Lord.

His father, David Noe, died before him, along with stepchildren Kimberley Ledbetter Carroll and Miles Ledbetter Jr. and great-niece Riley Brielle Noe.

Survivors include Ruby Noe, his former wife and current girlfriend; stepson James Ledbetter and his wife, Tina; grandchildren Brittany Ledbetter, Dalton Carroll and Logan Carroll; brothers Larry Noe and his wife, Judi, and Don Noe and his wife, Paula; sister Kathy Shubert and her husband, Robert; and his mother, Anna Ruth Campbell Noe.

Other surviving relatives include nieces and nephews Annelle Barbarito, David Noe, Darrick Noe, Adrianna “Anna” Shubert, Tara Shubert, Tasha Shubert, Christian “PJ” Phillips, Jonathan Noe, Zachary Noe and Aaron Noe, along with their spouses where identified in the family notice. Great-nieces and great-nephews include Cadee Noe, Remington Noe, Isaiah Phillips, Audrey Phillips and Ryan Josiah Marcum.

Rev. Ralph Johnson officiated the funeral service. Sharp Funeral Home served the Noe family. The July 23 visitation, July 23 funeral service and July 24 graveside service have now taken place.
