* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northwestern Meigs County in southeastern Ohio... Northeastern Vinton County in southeastern Ohio... Southwestern Athens County in southeastern Ohio...

* Until 1230 AM EDT.

* At 1148 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lake Hope State Park, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Athens, Mcarthur, Albany, Lake Hope State Park, Zaleski, Creola, and Carpenter.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
