Stewardship for Saints & Scholars Campaign Surpasses $50 Million

The Stewardship for Saints and Scholars campaign continues to build incredible momentum across the Diocese of Lansing. Parishes participating in Wave Three have seen a surge of generosity, with more than $5 million in new pledges received over just the past three weeks. Thanks to this remarkable response, the overall total for the campaign now stands at over $50 million! If you still have your pledge card, please take a few moments this week to complete and return it. Cards can be dropped off at your parish office, placed in the offertory basket, or mailed directly to the Catholic Foundation. To help inspire and guide your decision, Bishop Earl Boyea has recorded this special message reflecting on the importance of this campaign and the lasting impact of your generosity.

Diocese Highlights Seminary Support Through 2026 Appeal

"Watch this beautiful short film as Diocese of Lansing seminarian, Jonathan Galvas, above, explains how your generous giving to the Diocesan Services Appeal 2026 is helping the diocese’s 29 seminarians progress along the path to the sacred priesthood. The Diocesan Services Appeal (DSA) is an annual appeal used to sustain the ongoing, day-to-day work of the Church across the 10 counties of the Diocese of Lansing. Contributions are put to work right away in a multitude of ministries and activities that offer direct assistance to individuals and families, as well as to our parishes, schools, and affiliated Catholic organizations. That includes seminary education. By the grace of God, these are fruitful times for priestly ordinations within the Diocese of Lansing. Last year saw seven young men ordained to the priesthood — the largest ordination class in 47 years. God willing, this year will see another four new priests ordained.
