Volunteers will gather at designated meeting points at 9:00 AM, with activities expected to conclude by 1:00 PM. Areas targeted include local parks, community centers, and major road shoulders. Gloves, trash bags, and safety vests will be provided. Please sign up at your local community center or visit the county website to register.
Calhoun County Library Invites Kids to "Adventure Begins at Your Library" This Summer
The Calhoun County Public Library is excited to announce the kickoff of its 2024 Summer Reading Program, themed "Adventure Begins at Your Library." This program is open to children of all ages and runs from June 1st through August 15th. Participants can track their reading progress to earn badges and enter drawings for exciting prizes. The library will also host a variety of free events, including story times, craft workshops, and guest author visits, every Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Registration opens May 15th at all library branches.
