Cape May Point Secures Grant for Electric Vehicle Charging Station

Cape May Point has received a $25,000 grant from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's (NJDEP) It Pay$ to Plug In: Public Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charging Grant Program. This funding will support the purchase of a Level 2 dual-port electric vehicle charging station for the borough.

The new charging station will be installed at the Borough Hall. This initiative aims to provide convenient charging options for electric vehicle owners in the area, from the shores near Cape May Point to the historic heart of Cape May Court House, aligning with broader efforts to promote sustainable transportation.
