Hallandale Beach Transportation Master Plan for Citywide Mobility

Hallandale Beach residents can anticipate safer, more efficient, and sustainable ways to travel as the Transportation and Mobility Department develops a comprehensive Transportation Master Plan. The plan aims to create a connected and inclusive network supporting walking, biking, micro mobility, public transit and driving.

Key priorities include street safety improvements, integrated corridor development and neighborhood projects designed to reduce car reliance and enhance accessibility. The department operates under the City Commission’s long-term goals and the Capital Improvement Plan, managing the city's transportation systems through collaboration with various city departments, external agencies and stakeholders.

The City partners with Broward County, Broward County Transit, SFRTA/Tri-Rail, the Florida Department of Transportation, the Metropolitan Planning Organization, federal agencies like the Federal Transit Administration and Federal Highway Administration, private rail operators and neighboring municipalities to ensure regional connectivity and successful multimodal transportation initiatives.
