Hallandale Beach Blvd Closed for Railroad Repairs Oct 10-13
State Road 858 (Hallandale Beach Boulevard) will be fully closed to vehicles and pedestrians from Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, to Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026, for railroad crossing repairs. The Florida East Coast Railway is conducting the work, which may extend through Wednesday.

Motorists and pedestrians should prepare for traffic disruptions on State Road 858, also known as Hallandale Beach Boulevard, due to railroad crossing repairs. The Florida East Coast (FEC) Railway will rehabilitate its tracks, impacting eastbound and westbound travel.
The full closure began Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at 6 p.m. and is scheduled to end Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026, at 6 p.m. The work may extend to Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, at 6 p.m. if unforeseen circumstances arise.
Motorists should seek alternate routes and allow for extra travel time. Detour information and updates will be available from FEC Railway and local authorities.
