Hallandale residents and businesses along Diplomat Parkway experienced a water service interruption from 10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7. The disruption stemmed from scheduled work.

Following service restoration, a precautionary boil water notice is in effect for Diplomat Parkway from Atlantic Shores Boulevard to Hallandale Beach Boulevard. Residents and businesses in this area must boil all water for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes. Bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before use. Bottled water is an alternative.

The notice remains in effect until the city confirms water quality through testing. The City of Hallandale will notify affected customers directly when the notice is lifted.

For questions, contact the City of Hallandale at (954) 457-1632. The city thanked residents for their patience.
