Haines City Mayor's 5K Run Benefits Local Causes

Haines City residents can participate in the Mayor's 5K, presented by AdventHealth Heart of Florida, to raise funds for local organizations. Mayor Vernel Smith encourages participation in the early-morning event. Trophies will go to the top three male and female finishers in adult (18+), youth (13-17), and younger youth (12 and under) age categories. Participants registering by Sept. 20 will receive a t-shirt, with sizes guaranteed. All finishers will receive a medal.

Online registration is available via Run Sign Up. Sponsors include AdventHealth Heart of Florida, Soni Family Practice, and Duke Energy.
