76ers Advance Past Magic in Play-In Tournament
The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Orlando Magic 105-98 in the NBA Play-In Tournament on Wednesday. Joel Embiid led Philadelphia, recording 32 points and 13 rebounds. Tyrese Maxey contributed 28 points for the 76ers.
Paolo Banchero paced Orlando with 24 points and 8 rebounds. Franz Wagner added 20 points for the Magic. Philadelphia's victory secured their place in the Eastern Conference playoffs as the seventh seed.
The 76ers shot 47.6% from the field. Orlando finished the game shooting 40.5% from the field. Philadelphia also outrebounded Orlando 48-40. The Magic will now face the loser of the Chicago Bulls and Atlanta Hawks play-in game for the eighth seed.
