St. Petersburg Mayor Presents 2026 State of Economy

St. Petersburg Mayor Welch to Present 2026 State of the Economy on June 3

Mayor Kenneth T. Welch will host the 2026 State of the Economy on Wednesday, June 3, from 4 to 6 p.m. at The Mahaffey Theater, 400 1st St. S.

The event will examine the city's economic performance, including job growth, business expansion and emerging trends. Welch and his Economic Development team will present city initiatives and investments aimed at strengthening the local economy.

City Council Chair Lisset Hanewicz will attend. Guest speakers include Michelle Detweiler, president and CEO of Parc Center for Disabilities, and Pat Mack, founder and CEO of PVM.

Seating is limited. Registration is required at www.stpete.org/SOTE2026. Free parking is available at the theater. Residents who cannot attend can watch on the City of St. Petersburg's Facebook page at facebook.com/StPeteFL.
