Gulfport Voters: Oct. 5 Deadline for November Election

Gulfport residents have until Oct. 5 to register for the Nov. 3 General Election. Information on mail ballots and early voting is also available.

Gulfport residents must register to vote by Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2026, for the November 3, 2026, General Election. This deadline applies to all voters, whether casting ballots from near the beaches or the historic Waterfront district.

Mail ballot requests are also subject to deadlines. Military and overseas voters had ballots mailed starting Sept. 18. Domestic voters received mail ballots beginning Sept. 29, with the statutory deadline for mailing them being Oct. 1.

Residents who want to receive a mail ballot must request it by 5 p.m. on Oct. 22, 2026. Requests can be made online or by calling 727-464-VOTE (8683).

Early voting runs from Oct. 19 through Nov. 1. Specific hours and locations will be announced on the Early Voting page.

On Election Day, Nov. 3, 2026, polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters can check their precinct-specific sample ballot using the "Find Your Precinct" tool. An accessible audio sample ballot is also available.
