Canal Winchester Traffic Signal Upgrade at Avery-Muirfield

Canal Winchester is improving the traffic signal at the intersection of Avery-Muirfield Drive and the U.S. 33 Westbound ramp. Strawser Paving is installing a new signal pole, video detection system, truck apron, and sidewalk on the northeast corner, along with new pavement.

Crews will perform truck apron work during daytime hours and complete most pavement work at night to minimize traffic disruption. Trucks will detour via Dublin Methodist Lane and Hospital Drive during construction.

The City expects to finish the project by May 2026. No traffic delays have been reported so far.
