CDC Deploys Experts to Dallas Following Ebola Case

A team of 10 specialists from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) arrived in Dallas, Texas to support the state and local health departments following the diagnosis of an Ebola case within the city. The CDC's Emergency Operations Center in Atlanta provides additional support around the clock.

The CDC experts will work directly with Texas authorities to conduct a thorough investigation. The focus involves identifying and contacting individuals who may have had contact with the Ebola patient to mitigate further transmission.
