Artemis II Crew Returns to Earth After Lunar Trip

The Artemis II mission concluded Friday with the Orion capsule's splashdown in the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of San Diego. The capsule entered the atmosphere at approximately 34,965 feet per second, according to mission data.
