The City of Greer is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Merriman as the new City Administrator. Mr. Merriman comes to Greer with a wealth of experience in municipal government. Prior to accepting this position, he served as City Manager for the City of Mauldin, SC and Assistant City Manager for the City of Greenville, NC. He also previously served as the Interim Town Manager / Finance Director for the Town of Butner, NC. Mr. Merriman will oversee the daily operations of the city and will be responsible for implementing the policies set forth by the City Council. He will begin his duties on July 15, 2024.
