Greer, SC – The City of Greer is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Manley as the new Public Works Director, effective June 3, 2024. Manley brings over 20 years of experience in public works management and engineering to the role. He will report to City Administrator Andy Merriman and will oversee the city's infrastructure maintenance and improvement projects, including streets, sanitation, and water and sewer systems. Prior to joining the City of Greer, Manley served as the Director of Public Works for the City of Spartanburg. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University.
