Yodel Community Calendar launches in Decatur County

Greensburg, IN — Residents and visitors of Decatur County now have a new, free online resource to keep track of local happenings. The Yodel Community Calendar, an online interface designed to consolidate event information, officially launched in June 2023.

The Yodel Community Calendar was brought to the county with assistance from The Stellar Team. The platform allows users to select favorite events and automatically add them to their personal digital calendars, including Google, iOS, Android, and Microsoft calendars. A key feature of Yodel is its notification system, which alerts users to any changes in event details, such as cancellations or rescheduled dates and locations.

More than 100 local organizations, including churches, non-profits, schools, government agencies, and youth sports teams, are represented on the calendar. The Stellar Team of Decatur County sponsors Yodel, ensuring it remains free for community use. The goal is to provide residents with a reliable way to stay informed about local events, from concerts and fundraisers to dinners, sports tournaments, and meetings.

To create a free Yodel account, individuals can visit events.yodel.today. For additional details and timeline information, residents can find The Stellar Team of Decatur County on Facebook or visit them at the Friends of Fred Food Truck Festival. The festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 17, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on the Downtown Square in Greensburg.
