Montana State finished the 2025 regular season with an impressive 14-2 overall record and an .875 winning percentage, outscoring opponents 606-304 during the campaign. The Bozeman-based program went 9-1 at home and 4-1 on the road, showcasing consistency across both venues.

Montana, despite the loss, posted a strong 13-2 overall record and finished 7-1 in Big Sky Conference play, good enough for second place.
