No formal services are planned. Instead, her family encourages community members to honor her memory by embracing simple joys.
The family suggests celebrating Peg's life by enjoying a slice of pie, with apple and lemon meringue noted as her favorites. They also invite residents to arrange a jar of late summer flowers for their kitchen tables or pick a ripe tomato from their gardens and remember her fondly.
