RUTLAND – Julia Grace Brewer, the 4-month-old infant daughter of Kenneth and Catherine Brewer, died unexpectedly on Friday, August 21, 2026. Julia, who resided in Rutland with her family, experienced a life filled with camping trips, boating, visits to the lake and ocean, the state fair, and the rodeo.
She leaves behind her parents, Kenneth and Catherine Brewer, and her siblings Alana, Mila, and Dayton, all of Rutland. Her maternal grandparents are Penny Inglee and Scott Herdling of Proctor. Paternal grandparents are Robert C. and Lori Brewer of Rutland. Julia also leaves great-grandparents Mary Jean Inglee, Elizabeth Kipp Brewer, both of Rutland, Anna Blacklock of Clarendon, Virginia Clinton of West Rutland, and Clara Daly of North Clarendon, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends gathered for calling hours on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Aldous Funeral Home, located at 44 North Main Street, Rutland, VT. Private graveside services were held at Calvary Cemetery, where Julia will be laid to rest alongside her great-grandfather, Harold Inglee.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Julia's memory be made to Horizons Early Learning Center, located at 92 Allen Street, Rutland, VT 05701.
