Drivers in Marshall, Roberts, Day, Codington, and Grant counties are advised to reduce speed and use low beam headlights due to areas of dense fog. The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a Special Weather Statement, effective immediately, warning of locally dense fog with visibilities dropping to a half-mile or less.

This fog is expected to continue over and along portions of the Sisseton Hills through late this evening, October 11, and potentially into the overnight hours, expiring at 1:00 AM UTC on October 12. Travelers, particularly those along Interstate 29, should exercise extreme caution.
