Globe Fire Department Extinguishes House Fire on Hackney Avenue
The Globe Fire Department responded to a structure fire at a residence on Hackney Avenue early Tuesday morning, bringing the blaze under control within 30 minutes with no injuries.
Firefighters arrived at approximately 3:15 AM to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the front of the single-family home. Crews extinguished the fire by 3:45 AM and remained on scene for several hours to ensure no hot spots remained.
The fire caused significant damage to the front section of the residence. The quick response prevented the fire from spreading to neighboring properties.
The Globe Fire Department Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause. The department did not release the residents' names or estimate property damage.
