Unauthorized Hydrant Flushing Taints Three Rivers Water

A private enterprise flushed hydrants without authorization in Three Rivers on Tuesday, May 12, causing rusty water throughout the city in St. Joseph County.
The flushing began around 11 a.m. City officials said they are addressing the problem. Residents with ongoing discolored water should call the Department of Public Services at 273-1845.
