Len Kies Named Section 2 Athletic Director of Year

Len Kies, athletic director at Bethlehem Central School District, received the NYSPHSAA Section 2 Athletic Director of the Year award at the Capital Region Education Awards ceremony on April 30.

The Capital Area School Development Association presents the award annually to recognize exceptional leadership in interscholastic athletics. Kies oversees the district's athletic and wellness programs and has served in coaching and administrative roles throughout his career.

"Len has dedicated his career to creating opportunities to grow through athletics," Superintendent Jody Monroe said. "His leadership and commitment to our student-athletes have had a lasting impact on our schools and community."

Kies retires from Bethlehem in June.
