This means that every grant has a specific contact information based on the agency providing the funding. To find help, select a grant for contact information. How can I be a successful grant applicant? If you’re applying for a Pennsylvania state grant, here are some tips to help you do well: Read the rules carefully. Every grant has its own steps, deadlines, and reporting requirements. Be sure to understand the rules for the grant you’re applying for. Watch out for common mistakes. Some people forget to include forms, make errors in their budget, or don’t explain their goals clearly. Take the training. The Grantee Integrity Training is free and helps you learn how to follow the rules and use your grant funding the right way. It’s especially helpful for first-time applicants and supports Pennsylvania’s commitment to fairness for all. Ask for help. If you’re not sure about something, contact the grant program contact directly. They can answer your questions or connect you to someone who can. Grants are available for many purposes. Every grant listed on pa.gov/grants has specific eligibility requirements. The opportunities listed are for various types of applicants, including: Businesses Government Higher education Individuals Libraries or library systems Nonprofits Filter by your specific needs What types of funding are offered? While grants are the main funding type offered, other types of funding may be available. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania agencies provide the following: Grants: Money given for a specific purpose. Grants do not need to be repaid. Loans: Money given that you must repay. Tax credits: A reduction of the money from the taxes owed. Renew Your Vehicle Registration
Renew Your Vehicle Registration You need to renew your vehicle registration to drive your vehicle on public roads. If you don't renew it, you could get fined or even lose your right to drive. Renew your registration online (opens in a new tab) Renew your retired status vehicle registration online (opens in a new tab) Online Services Some customers may experience difficulties when attempting to log in to our online services. Customers may be required to attempt logging in to the system more than once to gain access. We apologize for any inconvenience. Overview Renewing your vehicle and/or trailer registration can, in most cases, be completed online, at any of PennDOT's Online Messenger services or through the mail. Mailing instructions can be found on the back of the applicable forms. To renew online you will need your registration plate number, title number, insurance information, odometer reading, a valid credit card, and a printer. At the end of the transaction, you will be given the opportunity to print a receipt and a permanent registration credential. PennDOT will no longer mail a registration card for registrations renewed online. Renew Your Driver's License
Renew a Driver's License A Pennsylvania driver's license is valid for four years, expiring on the day after your birthday. PennDOT sends an invitation to renew three months prior to expiration. Residents who are 65 or older have the option of renewing their license every two years, instead of standard four years. If there are no corrections or changes, other than a change of address, you can renew online. Beginning May 7, 2025, Pennsylvanians will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, photo ID card, or another form of federally-acceptable identification (such as a valid passport or military ID) to board a domestic commercial flight or enter a federal building or military installation that requires ID. Renew your license online If there are no corrections or changes, other than a change of address, you can renew your driver's license online(opens in a new tab). You can also check the expiration date of your driver's license online. Upon completing your driver's license/photo ID renewal online, you will receive a camera card in the mail within 14 days. When you receive your camera card take it to your local PennDOT Photo License Center (opens in a new tab)to obtain your new product. In-person and by mail application process 1 You will receive an invitation to renew, but you can also download the renewal form Receive an Invitation to Renew (DL60A/DL60R) or download Form DL-143(opens in a new tab) (PDF). 2 Return the completed form and the applicable fee to PennDOT Return completed application with a check or money order made payable to PennDOT in the amount indicated on the form. Checks, money orders and/or credit/debit cards are accepted, but cash cannot be accepted. You can make checks or money orders payable to PennDOT for the appropriate fee(opens in a new tab). 3 Get your camera card A camera card will be mailed to you, and you should receive it within seven to ten working days after the form is processed. 4 Go to a photo license center After getting your camera card, go to any photo license center with your ID. There, you can get your new driver's license. You might have to confirm the last four digits of your social security number. Notes If you have not reconciled an outstanding sanction(s) in another state(s), PennDOT is unable to issue you any driver's license product. So, wait times are shorter on other days. PennDOT uses advanced facial recognition for photo ID renewals.
