Interested in learning how to run our A/V and sound systems during Sunday worship services? We’re looking for volunteers to help support the technical side of our services, including sound, slides, livestreaming, and microphones. No prior experience is necessary. Training and support will be provided! This is a great way to contribute behind the scenes, learn new skills, and help make worship accessible and welcoming for everyone. Flexible scheduling is available. If you’d like to learn more or give it a try, fill out this brief form or see Wendy. by Sam Keeler, Faith Formation CoordinatorFaith Formation has had a successful and energizing programming year. We saw much more consistent attendance across Sunday morning programming, alongside continued use of the Soul Matters curriculum through June. This year, Soul Matters has provided a strong thematic foundation for our work, using stories, art, games, and conversation to help our young people engage ideas in creative and developmentally meaningful ways. Next month we will be exploring “Flourishing Together,” which will be a less structured focus as we move into the summer months, continuing to emphasize growth, connection, community, and what it means to support one another in living meaningful lives. For summer programming, Soul Matters will continue through June, after which programming will shift into a more flexible, less structured summer rhythm. In addition, we will be offering Summer Village coworking for adults and less structured play for children on two separate weeks over the summer, providing community-centered time together in a more open format. We welcome input on summer Sunday morning programming, which can be shared at the next Faith Formation meeting or via email. Looking ahead to the coming year, we are continuing to build on the momentum of this year’s growth and consistency. Planning is underway for strengthening programming structure, expanding participation, and supporting continued engagement for children and families. In conclusion, it has been a meaningful and active year for Faith Formation, and I am grateful for the energy, care, and presence of our community as we continue moving forward together. Our next Faith Formation meeting will be held on Sunday, June 14, at noon, in the McPeak Room. All are welcome to join us!
