ARREST FOR POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY AND POSSESSION OF IMAGE/VIDEO OF ANIMAL SEX ACT (BESTIALITY)Osceola County (June 2026) The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) of an individual possessing child sexual abuse material. Detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit began an investigation into the incident.On June 4, 2026, Detectives with the ICAC unit served a residential search warrant at a residence in the Whispering Oaks neighborhood located in Kissimmee, Florida regarding this incident. Through investigation, the suspect was identified as Steven Joseph Nickles.​During the investigation, detectives located evidence of Mr. Nickles possessing files of Child Sexual Abuse Material and files of Bestiality. Based on the evidence obtained during this investigation, Mr. Nickles was charged with sixteen (16) counts of Possession of Child Pornography, fourteen (14) counts Possession of Image/Video of Animal Sex Act, and one (1) count of Unlawful Use of Two-Way Communication Device. Mr. Nickles was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail with zero bond. This investigation is ongoing and there is no evidence that Mr. Nickles has met any minors in person.The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to serving our community and increasing public safety.
