What a wonderful time of year! We are so busy spreading Christmas cheer and celebrating the birth of Jesus. Please mark your calendars accordingly as you will notice we have a lot going on.

What a wonderful time of year! We are so busy spreading Christmas cheer and celebrating the birth of Jesus. Please mark your calendars accordingly as you will notice we have a lot going on. PAC MEETINGS Calling all volunteers!!! Please join us for our last PAC meeting before Santa Shop opens. Help us get ready for the fun and festive shopping days at the Robin’s Nest! Dec 1st & 2nd at 9:15 a.m. upstairs in room 205-206. SANTA’S HELPERS ARE NEEDED! Help us make this Christmas even merrier for our students. December 5th – 14th. Volunteer opportunities are available for Santa’s Helpers! Spend time with our students as they pick out the perfect gifts for their loved ones. The Robin’s Nest annual Santa Shop will be open Dec. 5th – 14th! This is a special store for children to shop for gifts for everyone in their family. All items are priced at $5. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children to experience the joy of shopping on their own for their family and friends. Please make sure your child’s shopping list has been turned in to their teacher. If you have more than one child shopping, they must have their own shopping list to be able to shop with their class. Additional forms are available outside the Robin’s Nest office. CHRISTMAS CHAPEL We invite you to join us for our Christmas chapel. Robin’s Nest is participating in a toy drive for a local charity. Please help your child choose a toy gift to bring to the sanctuary and place on the stage. The gift should be new, in the range of $5 – $10 and for a preschool aged child. Please do not wrap the gift. This is a great opportunity to help teach your children the joy of giving. CHRISTMAS PROGRAM On Monday, Dec. 19th in the sanctuary, The Robin’s Nest will be presenting the Gingerbread Christmas program. Cindy Terrio and the classroom teachers are working with the children to prepare for this special musical presentation. Please drop your children off promptly at in their classroom. For our 2 year old classes, please drop your children off in the church choir room. CLASSROOM CHRISTMAS PARTIES Tuesday, December 20th 2-day-2’s, 2-day 3’s, VPK – Martz/Menke and VPK Bombar/Glass, Wednesday, December 21st 3-day 2’s, 3-day 3’s, 5-day 3’s, VPK – Alvarez/Probst and VPK – Dorsett/Pedersen WEDNESDAY DISMISSAL! All Robin’s Nest students will be dismissed at 12:15pm on Wednesday, Dec. 21st. There will be no Lunch Bunch or Extended Care offered that afternoon. School will be closed for the Holidays from Thursday, Dec. 22nd through Friday, January 6th. School resumes Monday, Jan. 9th 2023. Road Closures Announced for Cape Coral Bike Night on April 11

April 10, 2026 Cape Coral Bike Night will take place Saturday, April 11, and motorists should be aware of temporary road closures in Downtown Cape Coral to accommodate the event. Road closures will be in effect from 1 p.m. to midnight. Southeast 47th Terrace will be closed as follows: From Southeast 9th Place to Vincennes Boulevard: Closed to all automobiles, excluding motorcycles From Southeast 9th Place to Southeast 11th Place: Closed to all motor vehicles Motorists should expect traffic delays in the downtown area and are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes. Recommended detours include Southeast 46th Lane, Vincennes Boulevard, and Southeast 47th Street, which are marked in red on the map below. Drivers are advised to use caution, follow posted signage, and allow extra travel time while attending or traveling near the event area. Motorcycle parking will be available in the Thunder Zone, located at 4631 SE 10th Place. Additional motorcycle parking is available in the Iguana Mia parking lot, accessible by traveling west through the Vincennes roundabout and turning left into the lot, as well as on the north side of the Slow Bike Race area.
