Notice is hereby given that the Williamson County Budget Committee will conduct a public hearing on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. in the Williamson County Administrative Complex, 1320 West Main Street, Franklin, TN to consider the following budget amendment for Fiscal Year 2024: Amendment #1 Fund 101 General Fund Department: 1111 Executive To increase line item 101-11110-119 Salaries by $7,500 To increase line item 101-11110-212 Social Security by $465 To increase line item 101-11110-213 State Retirement by $450 To increase line item 101-11110-221 Group Insurance by $1,125 Fund 101 General Fund Department: 1111 Executive To decrease line item 101-49900-399 Fund Balance by $9,540

The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive public input regarding a proposed amendment to the City’s 2023-2024 Fiscal Year Budget. The proposed amendment would increase appropriations in the General Fund as follows: Fire Department - $67,000 Information Technology Department - $214,000 Parks and Recreation Department - $35,000 Police Department - $70,000 Street Department - $37,000 Capital Projects - $3,535,000 These increased appropriations would be offset by increased revenue projections of $1,693,000 and use of fund balance in the amount of $2,215,000.

A public hearing will be held by the City of Sevierville on June 3, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. in the City Hall to consider the following proposed amendment to the budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024: GENERAL FUND To appropriate unanticipated revenues and adjust expenditures as follows: Department Appropriation Police Department $ 300,000 Fire Department $ 200,000 Public Works Department $ 100,000 Copies of the proposed budget amendment are available for inspection in the office of the City Recorder, City Hall, 120 Gary Wade Boulevard, Sevierville, Tennessee. The City of Sevierville does not discriminate based on race, color, or national origin in federal or state sponsored programs, pursuant to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. 2000d.)
