The Columbia County Sheriff's Office asks residents to call (386) 719-2005 for non-emergency matters, reserving 911 for immediate threats to life or property.

Hollywood Library Invites Families to Summer Reading Kick-off Party on June 13
Join us at the Hollywood Public Library for our exciting Summer Reading Program Kick-off Party on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We'll have engaging story times, fun craft activities, outdoor games, and a special meet-and-greet with acclaimed children's author, Ms. Penelope Page. Participants can sign up for the 'Adventure Awaits' Summer Reading Challenge, which offers prizes for reaching reading goals. All activities are free and open to children of all ages and their families.
Hollywood City Commission Meets June 11: Zoning, Downtown Project, and Budget on Agenda
The Hollywood City Commission will convene for its regular scheduled meeting on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the City Hall Commission Chambers, located at 1650 Taylor Street, Hollywood, FL 33020. The agenda is expected to cover several important topics, including: proposed amendments to Chapter 110 of the City Code regarding mixed-use development regulations; a presentation on the progress of the downtown revitalization project; and preliminary discussions on the FY 2027 budget. A public comment period will be held at the beginning of the meeting. Full agenda will be posted on the city website by June 8, 2026.
