Yankees Defeat Angels to Split Series

Max Fried pitched for the Yankees, totaling 28 innings pitched for the season. He recorded 20 strikeouts while walking five batters. Walbert Urena started for the Angels, allowing six runs (none earned) in 1.2 innings pitched, striking out one and walking two.
The Yankees remain a half-game back of first place in the American League East, trailing the Rays. The Angels are now 1.5 games behind the Athletics.
