Whale Shark 'Milo' Sets World Record for Longest Shark Journey

A whale shark, nicknamed Milo, has set a new world record for the longest tracked journey by a shark, traveling 34,000 miles. The Guy Harvey Foundation (GHF), a marine conservation and ocean education organization, announced the record-breaking achievement today.

Milo was first tagged nearly a decade ago. His extensive travels provide invaluable data for researchers studying the migratory patterns and behavior of these gentle giants.
