Fort Myers Farmers Market Expands Oct. 3rd

The Fort Myers Culinary District Farmers Market will expand its offerings starting Saturday, Oct. 3. More than 70 vendors, both returning and new, will utilize a larger space in the heart of downtown Fort Myers.

The market will continue its regular schedule every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. An opening bell ceremony will mark the expansion at 9 a.m. on Oct. 3.

Shoppers can find fresh produce, baked goods, artisanal cheeses, nuts, fresh juices, spices, plants, flowers, organic skincare, clothing and jewelry, among other local goods.

Market organizers encourage visitors to explore downtown boutiques, locally owned shops and restaurants after shopping. A walk along the riverfront is also recommended.
