NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Fort Myers City Council will conduct a Public Hearing to consider the following Comprehensive Plan Amendment: CPA-23-12 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF FORT MYERS COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. BOULEVARD, GENERALLY LOCATED BETWEEN BAXTER AVENUE AND ORANGE AVENUE, PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE FROM COMMERCIAL (C) TO RESIDENTIAL HIGH (RH); PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Said Public Hearing will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 2200 Second Street, Fort Myers, Florida. All interested persons may appear and be heard regarding the proposed amendment to the City of Fort Myers Comprehensive Plan. The proposed amendment is available for public inspection at the City of Fort Myers Community Development Department, 2200 Second Street, Fort Myers, Florida, 33901. Any person who decides to appeal any decision of the City Council with respect to any matter considered at this meeting or hearing will need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
