7-Eleven Reopens, The Goodz Breaks Ground on Fort Myers Beach

Fort Myers Beach saw the reopening of a 7-Eleven and a groundbreaking for The Goodz in August 2026. Both businesses welcomed the public to their respective events.

Fort Myers Beach residents marked two business milestones in August 2026. The 7-Eleven store at 3051 Estero Boulevard held a re-grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, August 14, 2026, at 10 a.m. The public attended the event.

The following day, Saturday, August 15, 2026, also at 10 a.m., The Goodz hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for its new location at 1741 Estero Boulevard. The public also attended this event.

Town Council members may have attended both events, according to an official notice from Town Clerk Amy Baker. Council members took no official action at these public gatherings.
