A Wind Advisory has been issued for a wide area including East Arkansas, North Mississippi, Southeast Missouri, and West Tennessee, effective from Saturday, October 10 at 4 AM CDT until 8 PM CDT the same day.

The National Weather Service in Memphis, TN, warns of northeast winds ranging from 15 to 25 mph, with gusts potentially reaching up to 45 mph. This advisory impacts counties including Clay, Greene, Craighead, Poinsett, Mississippi, Cross, Crittenden, St. Francis, Lee, Phillips in Arkansas; Dunklin, Pemiscot in Missouri; DeSoto, Marshall, Benton, Tippah, Alcorn, Tishomingo, Tunica, Tate, Prentiss, Coahoma, Quitman, Panola, Lafayette, Union, Pontotoc, Tallahatchie, Yalobusha, Calhoun in Mississippi; and Lake, Obion, Weakley, Henry, Dyer, Gibson, Carroll, Benton, Lauderdale, Tipton, Haywood, Crockett, Madison, Chester, Henderson, Decatur, Shelby, Fayette, Hardeman, McNairy, Hardin in Tennessee.

Residents should secure outdoor objects as gusty winds can blow them around. Tree limbs could be brought down, and isolated power outages are possible. Driving may be difficult, particularly for high-profile vehicles. The National Weather Service urges extra caution while on the roads during this period.
