North Palm Beach Officials Must Complete Ethics Training

NORTH PALM BEACH, FL – All elected officials, employees, and Advisory Board members serving the Village of North Palm Beach must complete ethics training and sign an acknowledgement form. The requirement originates from Chapter 2, Article XIII, Section 2-446 of the Palm Beach County Code of Ordinances.

The ordinance mandates that these individuals read the Palm Beach County Code of Ethics, undergo training on its requirements, and submit a signed acknowledgement form. Members of Village Boards must complete their training within 60 days of initial appointment or reappointment.

Residents can access the Palm Beach County Code of Ethics as a PDF online. Training materials, including a Code of Ethics Training Video for Advisory Board Members and a Code of Ethics Training Presentation in PDF format, are also available online.

To fulfill the requirement, individuals must complete the ethics training acknowledgement form, available as a PDF. After viewing the online training and reading the code, the completed form should be returned to the Village Clerk's office. Forms can be mailed to the Office of the Village Clerk, Village of North Palm Beach, 501 US Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408, or submitted via email.
