Nassau County Welcomes Klynt Farmer as District 5 Commissioner-Elect, Promising Transparency

Nassau County residents will soon see a familiar face representing District 5, as Klynt Farmer prepares to take office as Commissioner-Elect. Farmer, a lifelong resident with deep roots in the community, brings a background in local business, law enforcement, and extensive community involvement to his new role.

Farmer's election as District 5 Commissioner-Elect matters to residents. He will represent their interests in local government, influencing decisions on services, infrastructure, and community development. His stated commitments to accessibility, transparency, accountability, honesty, and integrity will shape his approach to local governance.

Born, raised, and educated in Nassau County, Farmer attended schools in Callahan and graduated with honors from West Nassau High School in 1995. This local upbringing provides him with firsthand knowledge of the community's needs and challenges. He has accumulated twenty-seven years of experience in the liquid waste industry, owning and operating K.A. Farmer’s Septic Tank Service LLC and Farmer’s Trailers. His professional background also includes experience in retail, private sector business, manufacturing, and law enforcement. Recently, he was elected to serve as the Republican Party of Florida Precinct 503 Committeeman.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Farmer actively serves the community through numerous local charitable organizations and committees. His personal interests include competition cooking and judging, freshwater and saltwater fishing, fair chase big game hunting, sporting clays, waterfowling, golf, rodeo, vintage Chevrolet C-10 pickups, Jeep 4x4s, and NHRA drag racing.

As Commissioner-Elect, Farmer has expressed his commitment to being accessible to constituents, ensuring transparency in government operations, and upholding accountability, honesty, and integrity in his service to Nassau County District 5.
