NEWARK, Del. – The FIU softball program concluded its 2026 season yesterday, May 28, with a 2-1 defeat to Louisiana Tech. The extra-inning loss occurred in the opening round of the Conference USA (CUSA) Softball Championships.
The Panthers battled through eight innings before ultimately falling to Louisiana Tech. This outcome marks the end of FIU's 2026 campaign.
