Inverness Community Development Fee Updates Effective Now

The City of Inverness Community Development Department has issued an updated fee schedule for services related to development and land use. The revised schedule, effective immediately, outlines costs for applications, reviews, and permits.

Residents and developers can find fees for administrative appeals, annexations, and zoning map amendments. A small-scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment costs $750, while a large-scale amendment is $1,200. Contractor registration is $30.

Site plan review fees include $50 for residential plans and $200 for commercial plans. Projects with more than 500 residential units or 300,000 square feet of commercial area will incur a $15,000 project review fee.

Applications for street vacations cost $500. Subdivision preliminary plats are $250, and minor subdivision plats are $50 per lot.
