We offer simple 5-minute weddings on Wednesday's, as a special service of the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake. If you don't have time for an elaborate ceremony, but still want a memorable wedding day choose Simply Married by calling 352-253-4300 for an appointment today. About the Ceremony Tavares Pavilion on the Lake offers a simple alternative to courthouse weddings in a beautiful setting located in our Pavilion Gardens. Simple ceremonies are $75 and are available on Wednesday's from the hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Advance appointments are required; please call 352-253-4300 to schedule. A valid marriage license must be obtained in advance, issued by a Florida Clerk of the Circuit Court. All marriages are performed by a Notary Public. You can dress up, or come as you are. The civil ceremony performed is very simple, dignified and nondenominational. Like a traditional courthouse wedding, the ceremony is only a few minutes long. Couples may write their own vows, within the parameters of the time allotted. Pricing and Fees The $75 fee for Simply Married includes: A licensed Florida Notary Public as officiate A simple 5 minute recitation of vows Ceremony is performed with wedding party and guests standing Signing of the marriage license by Florida Notary Public The fee for Simply Married does not include: Music Flowers Chairs or other seating Candle or unity ceremony

Hearings are conducted in person by Special Magistrates, who are qualified real estate appraisers, personal property appraisers, or attorneys, selected by the VAB to make recommendations on Petitions. Under Florida Law, the Property Appraiser’s assessment is supported by a "presumption of correctness" and the burden of proof falls on the Petitioner contesting the validity and/or value of the Property Appraiser’s assessment. The Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller is the Clerk to the VAB. The Clerk provides information and forms pertaining to the petition process by which a property owner can challenge the valuation, exemption, or classification assigned to the property. Members The VAB consists of two County Commissioners, one School Board Member, and two citizen members, one each appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and the District School Board, who are governed by Chapter 194, Florida Statutes, and Rule Chapter 12D 10, Florida Administrative Code.
