L.I.T.s are vital to the success of all our camps. We realize that you have preferences in which camps you would like to be placed at based on your own skills/interests and where your friends and siblings are enrolled. We recognize that those factors are an important part of your experience. We try to accommodate as many requests as possible, however we are NOT always able to place you at your first choice of camps or for ALL the weeks that you request.
To assist us in finding the best placement for you, complete the summer planning sheet included in the application packet indicating (1) which weeks you are available AND (2) for those weeks you are available, provide your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice in camp placement.
Once we have confirmed your placement we will reach out with your schedule and collect payment.
Those who turn in their applications in a timely manner are more likely to get their first choice in placement. For example, if you wait until end of May to apply several camps will likely be full."

D. Public Comment
This is the time for members of the public who wish to be heard on matters that do not appear on the Agenda. City Council policy is to limit each speaker to three (3) minutes. Such time allotment or portion thereof shall not be transferred to other speakers. The public will be allowed to speak concurrently with the calling of an agenda item following the staff presentation of that item. Pursuant to the Brown Act, the City Council may not take action on an item that does not appear on the Agenda.
TIME ALLOTMENT FOR PUBLIC COMMENT ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS: A maximum of thirty (30) minutes shall be allotted to receiving public comments at the initial public comment period. If necessary, an additional period shall be allotted to public comments after City Manager Reports, but only if the first 30-minute Public Comment period was not sufficient to allow all those who wished to speak to do so.
The public will be allowed to speak concurrently with the calling of an agenda item following the staff presentation of that item. At the time an item is considered, the Mayor will ask those attending the meeting in person to line up on both sides of the Council Chamber or raise their hands, and for remote participants to use *9 on the telephone or the "raise hand" function in Zoom, if they wish to address the City Council. The maximum amount of time for each person to speak and the total amount of time allotted for each item will be determined based on the number of people indicating an interest in speaking and the amount of business to be conducted on the agenda. In certain circumstances and when necessary to ensure a full opportunity for public input, the Mayor may adjust the amount of time allowed for public input and/or the time allotted for each speaker.
