Fire Prevention Week is an annual observance dedicated to raising awareness about fire safety and prevention. This year, the City of Lake City joins communities nationwide in highlighting the importance of fire safety in our homes and workplaces. We encourage all residents to take this opportunity to review their fire escape plans and ensure they have working smoke alarms. For more information on fire safety tips and resources, please visit the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) website or contact the Lake City Fire Department.
